Peter Benson

Peter Benson holds an honors degree in Communications from Carleton University and is also a graduate of Vancouver Film School. Peter has been heavily involved in the Vancouver Film Industry having created and written a number of projects including: Kits, Scott’s Land, Just Friends, and Valkyrie. In addition to writing and producing, Peter also maintains a successful acting career having amassed over fifty film and television credits to his name. He has played lead roles in a variety of films including Christmas Lodge, The Break-up Artist and The Wingman. He is most widely recognized for his work on the CBC series jPod but has also been featured on Motive, Continuum, The Haunting Hour, Arrow, Arctic Air and the highly acclaimed drama The Killing on AMC. Peter recently made his directorial debut in the comedy feature What an Idiot, which he and his wife Julia wrote, produced, and are starring in together. IMDB
