Following on from the Level Design course, students will learn more advanced techniques along with different game styles.
Course Goals and Outcomes
Specific areas the course will look at include:
- Puzzle games
- 10 principles of good level design
- Color theory in level design
- Advanced level design theories
- The level as its own story.
Supplies and Equipment
Students are required to bring the following with them to classes: 3” binder with paper and tabs, notebook, pen, pencil, highlighter, calculator. It is required that students have computer access outside of class.
